Make littis: In a bowl mix all ingredients mentioned, crush carom seeds between palms before adding. Mix them all well.
Add water and knead a semi soft dough. Cover and set aside.
Place potatoes in a microwave dish, keep a cup of water in the centre of the dish. Cook in microwave for 5-7 minutes on high. Remove the skin and mash the potatoes.
Make crisscross slits on the tomatoes and place them on a microwave safe dish. Cook in your microwave oven for 2 minutes. Peel the skin and crush them.
Add the seasonings and other ingredients mentioned in the list to prepare chokha
Make filling; mix all the ingredients mentioned in the list, add tablespoons of water if required to bring the mixture together. It should form a ball if pressed between palms
Assemble by taking a lemon sized ball of dough, make cavity and stuff a teaspoon of the filling. Pinch from edges and seal the dough.
Preheat oven @200°C
Place 6-8 balls at a time on a lined baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes
Remove the dish and flip the balls upside down and again keep in the microwave for another 7-8 minutes
Once you see the cracks on the littis, it means they are cooked from inside.
Remove from oven and serve with prepared chokha.
